Here it is all about good, old-fashioned hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere. All en-suite bungalows are of unique rustic design nestled in Roy’s Rest Camp gardens. Each bungalow is equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets and tea/coffee facilities. To fill the days, we offer exciting activities such as 4×4 road trips to the Ju/’Hoansi Living Museum, peaceful walking trails, spectacular close-up game viewing at the hide and waterhole, relaxation at the swimming pool or enjoying a laid-back sundowner around the campfire. For some cultural inspiration visit the 66-ton iron-nickel meteorite on the Hoba West farm just 20 km south of Grootfontein, or visit the Old Fort Museum in Grootfontein which was the military fort and administrative post built in 1896 by the Schutztruppe and the native population.
