On Friday, amidst a market selling natural products, home made ice-creams and Namibian made beer, In Season was launched, Namibia’s first green lifestyle magazine. Published by the team at Wordweaver, the magazine aims to provide a platform for likeminded people across the country.
Bryony van der Merwe, editor of the magazine, said that while she was doing research for a book, she realised there was so much going on in the holistic living sectors of Namibia, that it was time to start a magazine where all those interested in green living, eco-friendly lifestyles and healthy alternatives could come together.
Bryony says the magazine will help people to make healthy lifestyle choices. Moreover, the magazine will look at a wide range of common products used, analyse them and then look at healthier alternatives – many available right here in Namibia.
Why should you buy this magazine? Bryony believes the magazine will offer a host of benefits to buyers, helping them to learn more about holistic living, eco friendly living and natural living. Furthermore, the magazine will focus on local products, things that readers can easily access.
“It’s about bringing all these amazing people together to consumers. To create a platform for like-minded people. That platform does not exist now”.
The magazine will hit the shelves once a month. At the moment, it can be bought at the offices of Wordweaver and also at the Windhoeker Buchhandlung.
