A must-see for culture aficionados en route to Rundu is the Ju’Hoansi Living Museum where visitors can experience and learn about the traditional Kalahari San culture – one of the oldest on our planet.

Join the clan on a hunting, tracking and bush-food collecting expedition; learn to make a fire in the traditional stick-rubbing method; and watch how these amazing people go about their daily lives. Camp facilities are available under mangetti trees, providing an authentic bush (and Bushman) experience. Find the Ju’Hoansi on the C44, 140 kilometres north-east of Grootfontein.

Also pay a visit to the Mbunza Living Museum to experience the skills and traditions of the Kavango people. You will find it on the B10 in the direction of Nkurenkuru.
