Often wanted to play around with those shiny, glittery materials used to make jewellery?

Well, now you can learn the tricks of the trade from one of Namibia’s most imaginative jewellers, without giving up your day job!

Frieda Lühl, herself a jewel, offers a ‘unique jewellery experience of natural materials, original designs and skilled technique’ to anyone interested in experiencing moments of visual delight, not to mention sensual bliss.

Frieda treats groups of up to six hobby jewellers to her knowledge and enthusiasm twice a week for three hours.

She explains: “It takes a lot of experimenting and concentration in the beginning, but the hard work pays off when you slip your first masterpiece onto your finger, arm, or neck.”

Frieda mastered her own creative skills at a jewellery design school in Germany, after which she completed an apprenticeship as goldsmith, before opening her own studio in Cape Town. But she inevitably found her way back to Namibia, “…because there are so many opportunities in this country!”

Contact her to explore and develop your skills by booking a workstation on 081 751 3026.
