Sun Karros Daan Viljoen is instituting a “Boma Day Visitor Deposit” effective as from the 1st of December.
The superb Sun Karros Daan Viljoen lodge is situated in the Daan Viljoen Game Reserve a mere 20 km west of Windhoek on the C28 route to Walvis Bay.
The park welcomes guests who stay overnight but also offers day visitors a convenient retreat during which to enjoy the top restaurant facilities, the relaxed atmosphere and to pack in some game viewing to boot.
According to the Sun Karros Daan Viljoen team, the Boma Deposit amounts to N$50 per person, including children. The fee is not refundable and is paid upon arrival at reception.
In a notice, management explained that the full balance of the Boma Deposit will be deducted from the final meal bill. (For example: A N$100 Boma deposit for two people, and the total meal bill is N$300, the guests will only be charged a balance of N$200 for their meal).
The Boma Deposit is not applicable to delegates attending conferences, events and / or team building sessions.
The 4 000 hectare Daan Viljoen Game Reserve supports a healthy population of game typical of the Namibian highlands including giraffe, eland, kudu, oryx, mountain zebra, baboon, warthog, jackal and blue wildebeest to name but a few. With over 200 species of birds, Daan Viljoen is particularly popular for birding enthusiasts.
