Desert Rhino Camp
August 7, 2017[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
A joint venture between Wilderness Safaris and the Doro !Nawas community, Doro Nawas Camp sits atop a rocky hill commanding spectacular views of the Etendeka Mountains to the north, the red sandstone cliffs of Twyfelfontein in the south, and the plains of the dry Aba-Huab River below. Accommodation comprises 16 units that blend into a dramatic landscape of table-top outcrops, small canyons, dry riverbeds and grassland vistas. The camp provides an excellent base from which to experience phenomenal scenery, the acclaimed desert-adapted elephant herds that move through the area seasonally, and the spectacular rock engravings of Twyfelfontein World Heritage Site.
