"Share My Namibia" is a social media and digital marketing campaign geared towards the promotion of domestic tourism and to grow Namibia Tourism Board's (NTB) online communities. The campaign aims to encourage local Namibians to discover more by travelling to new places and experiencing new activities within the borders of Namibia.

African wild dog now a protected species in Namibia

According to the World Wildlife Fund, the African wild dog is one of the world's most endangered mammals. The largest populations remain in southern Africa and the southern part of East Africa. Namibia has finally taken the necessary steps to ensure the survival of this species.

Okonjima – A family vision

Shortly after my arrival at Plains Camp on a hot midsummer’s noon I’m drifting in a cool, round pool with corrugated iron sides. A Stewarts & Lloyds windmill clinks hypnotically overhead, slowly grinding to a halt as the breeze subsides. One could be forgiven for thinking one is on an African farm, but of course that’s exactly what the Hanssen family wants you to experience.
